MENUJUKAN KESILAPAN TENTANG LAPORAN BERITA PIHAK MEDIA METRO
Sebab-sebab menegaskan tentang kesilapan berita :
Pada 7 Aug 2007, saya mendapat tahu dari beberapa pihat tentang surat khabar Melayu – Metro dan berita dari televisyen melaporakan hasil ciptaan lagu saya baru-baru ini yang telah melanggar undang undang di Malaysia. Tetapi selepas saya membaca berita-berita yang berkenaan, saya mendapati bahawa berita yang dilaporkan oleh surat khabar Metro mempunyai kesilapan yang serious. Pihak pemberita menggunakan cara yang agak subjektif untuk melaporkan berita ini dan menyebabkan masyarakat salah faham tentang hasil karyaan yang telah saya ciptakan.
Pertama, pihak metro mengatakan hasil ciptaan lagu saya adalah menghina negara, bangsa, agama dan kerajaan tanpa memahami maksud tersirat lirik tersebut.
Kedua, pihak metro tidak menterjemahkan lirik cina ke melayu agar pihak ramai boleh memahami lirik tersebut dan menilai maksud yang disampaikan ataupun adakah lirik saya ini adalah menghina negara, bangsa, agama ataupun kerajaan. Disebabkan ini ialah lagu cina, masyarakat melayu tidak dapat memahami maksud yang hendak disampaikan dan mereka hanya boleh mengetahui maksud lirik ini melalui pihak media.Saya berasa pihak media tidak patut disebabkan hasil jualan dan melaporkan perkara yang tidak benar dengan tidak profesion.
Di sini, saya ingin menerangkan beberapa keraguan dalam isu ini
1. Sebab apa saya mencipta lagu ini pada awalnya
Saya meminat memain muzik. Kali ini, saya akan menggunakan lagu Negaraku sempena hari Kemerdekaan yang akan datang. Saya tidak berniat untuk menghina negara tercinta – Malaysia. Terdapat banyak cara untuk mencipta sebuah lagu dan salah satu cara ialah ‘sampling’ yang akan menjadikan sebuah lagu jadi effect lain. Dalam kes ini, saya telah memilih lagu Negaraku. Apa yang saya hendak FOKUS disini ialah lagu Negaraku adalah sebuah lagu yang perlu dihormati. Dengan itu, apabila saya mencipta lagu ini saya TIDAK ubah melodi dan lirik lagu Negaraku tetapi saya mengunakan melodi dan lirik asalnya. Namun begitu, saya juga megubahkan cara untuk mempersembahkan lagu ini kepada cara R&B. Sebelum ini, terdapat ramai orang mengubah cara nyanyian lagu Negaraku di pelbagai persembahan terbuka termasuk sambutan sempena Hari Kemerdekaan. Berdasarkan dari segi muzik, sekiranya lagu ciptaan tetap mengamalkan maksud asalnya, saya berasa tidak ada apa-apa yang tidak kena. Tetapi kalau hasil cipta saya betul-betul melanggar undang-undang, saya berasa amat kesal!
2. Menegaskan kebenaran
Lagu ini cuma menglibatkan lirik Negaraku di bahagian korus manakala di bahagian verse saya telah menggunakan kemahiran rap. Lirik dalam bahagian rap yang saya mempersembahkan kebanyakan adalah berdasarkan dari apa yang pernah saya atau kawan alami. Apa yang saya hendak fokus disini ialah saya menggunakan cara huraian untuk menyampaikan maksud lagu tersebut dan bukannya mengkritik. Tujuannya adalah untuk membiarkan pendengar menilaikan betul salahnya. Contohnya, dalam lirik saya ada mengatakan orang cina sukar mendapat tawaran dari universiti tempatan tetapi saya tidak mengesahkan bahawa itu adalah satu perkara yang baik atau tidak. Saya cuma menghuraikan perkara tersebut dan membiarkan pendengar yang menentu perkara tersebuat adakah betul atau salah.
3. TIDAK menghina agama
Sekali lagi saya menerangkan bahawa saya tidak mengkritik apa-apa sahaja termasuk agama.Salah satu dari bahagian lirik saya ada mengatakan yang sebahagian orang islam melafazkan Al-Quran out of tune, ada pula yang pecah nada, dan ada yang macam kokokan ayam.Lirik-lirik yang saya huraikan diatas, saya ada menyatakan SEBAHAGIAN dari mereka yang melafazkan Al-Quran dan bukannya semua orang. Saya sebagai seorang ahli muzik senang bagi saya membezakan penyanyi yang out of tune ataupun pecah nada. Sekali lagi saya menerangkan yang saya TIDAK mengkritik sebarang tentang agama tetapi saya cuma menyuarakan kemahiran mereka di bahagian nyanyi seperti apabila kami dengar kawan-kawan kita nyanyi tidak bagus dan menyuarakan pendapat sahaja. Saya harap masyarakat tidak terlalu sensitive terhadap isu ini dan sememangnya saya sendiri amat hormat setiap agama kerana agam tidak boleh dilanggar.
4. Ganguan yang dialami kerana kesalahan yang dibuat dari pihak media
Disebabkan kesalahan pihak media melaporkan berita ini, ia menyebabkan orang ramai tidak boleh menilaikan betul salah terhadap isi kandungan lyric lagu ini dan ia juga mengancam keselamatan keluarga saya. Saya menerima comment-comment dari blog dan youtube yang mengatakan mereka hendak membakar rumah dan membunuh saya. Di sini, saya ingin mengharapkan orang baik di luar sana agar menterjemahkan lirik cina ini kepada melayu supaya orang ramai boleh memahami isi tersirat yang ingin saya sampaikan dan biar orang ramai tahu yang saya sebenarnya tidak berniat jahat dalam ciptaan lagu ini. Sebenarnya saya sendiri mempunyai ramai kawan melayu sejak kecil, saya tidak ingin disebakan kesilapan laporan berita ini dan menghilang sahabat-sahabat karib saya.
5. Sekiranya lagu ini tidak mengapi-apikan masyarakat
Selain dari mereport perkara yang tidak adil bagi saya, pihak media yang berkenaan juga mengatakan lagu ciptaan saya mengapi-apikan masyarakat. Bagi saya, tidak mudah sesebuah lagu tidak mengapi-apikan masyarakat apatah lagi menyebabkan peperangan atau salah faham yang akan berlaku? Saya percaya bahawa rakyat Malaysia mempunyai kemampuan untuk bernilai sesuatu perkara sama ada betul atau salah. Sebenarnya orang ramai faham dengan lirik dalam lagu ini, mereka akan tahu lagu ini semata-mata hanyalah untuk hiburan. Disebaliknya, pihak media yang melaporkan perkara ini dengan tidak profesion dan subjektif adalah tujuan utama yang menyebabkan perkara ini berlaku! Ini adalah satu perkara yang serious dan saya berharap pihak media boleh memperbetulkan berita yang tidak berkenaan itu dan menjaminkan saya dan keluarga saya selamat.
6. Lirik lagu patut diterjemahkan
Saya bersungguh-sungguh mengharapkan sesiapa yang boleh menterjemahkan lirik lagu ini dari bahasa cina ke bahasa melayu agar orang melayu berhak mengetahui apa maksud lirik dalam lagu ini. Dengan ini, mereka juga boleh menilai adakah saya sedang menghina negara, rakyat, agama ataupun kerajaan. Dengan ini juga ia boleh memberi saya, masyarakat melayu, masyarakat cina mahupun rakyat malaysia satu pesanan yang adil.

申明原由---錯誤報導:
本人於2007年8月7日, 從各界獲知, 馬來西亞的馬來文報(metro)和電視新聞都有報導關於本人的創作和觸法等等問題. 但經過本人查閱後, 驚覺某馬來文報(metro) 的報導出現嚴重錯誤. 錯誤在於該報採用主觀和極度負面手法去報導此事. 無疑造成了馬來社會的誤解. 第一點, 該報主觀判定本人創作是在 "侮辱" 或 "褻瀆" 國家, 民族, 宗教和政府. 第二點, 該報沒有將歌詞翻譯成馬來文, 以讓馬來讀者自行判斷. 因為歌曲本身是華語, 所以馬來人無從了解內容本身, 而只能透過媒體的報導去了解.本人覺得媒體不應為了銷售量或收視率而作出不專業的報導.
本人在此作出幾點解釋：
1. 歌曲創作初衷:
本人興趣做音樂, 使用國歌只是配合國慶日即將到來, 所做出的創作. 並無惡意. 創作歌曲方式很多, 其中一種叫做"取樣式"(sampling). 讓歌曲形成某種 "拼貼效果" . 本人創作時臨機一動取樣了國歌,但重點是, 國歌必須尊重, 所以創作的時候, 國歌本身的旋律和歌詞部分, 本人並沒有改過. 而是完完整整的取樣而已. 本人另外還做了"曲風"的變動，把原本古典式的唱法, 改編成了節奏藍調 (R&B) 式的唱法, 並重新編曲. 之前也有不少人曾在很多公開場改編國歌曲風，包括國慶典禮上都有不同的詮釋方式. 從音樂的角度上只要不扭曲國歌本意的話, 個人覺得並無不妥之處. 但如果此做法真的觸犯了國歌法令的話, 本人深感抱歉!
2.陳述事實並非批判:
本歌曲取樣國歌為副歌部分, 而主歌部分則是本人的原創饒舌(rap). 饒舌的歌詞主要在陳述本人在馬來西亞看到聽到的所見所聞. 重點是, 本人歌曲每一句都是以"陳述式" 的方式來表達, 並無任何 "批判性"的句子. 目的是想讓聽眾自己判斷是非. 比如歌詞中有提到關於華人很難進入國立大學就讀，本人並沒有批評此事是好是壞，只是在陳述事情而已，好壞在人們心中自有定奪！
3.絕對沒有侮辱宗教:
再次聲明, 本人沒有批評任何事物, 包括宗教部分. 歌詞中有一段提到, 有些回教誦經者會唱到走音, 有些則會唱到破音, 有些聲音像公雞.在以上每一句歌詞中, 都有寫到 "有些". 本人是音樂人, 可以輕易聽出有無走音或破音, 這些都是事實 (至少在我家附近的誦經者有些可能年紀問題, 會造成聲音無法控制而破音) . 重點是, 本人沒有批評宗教, 只是指出演唱上技巧不足的問題, 針對的是某些人的唱歌技巧部分, 並沒有牽涉到宗教. 就好像聽到朋友唱歌不好聽, 幽他一默而已. 請大眾勿過度敏感. 本人非常尊重每個宗教信仰. 因為宗教絕對是不容侵犯的.
4.錯誤報導造成的影響:
因為部分媒體主觀的報導, 造成馬來讀者無法自行判斷歌曲內容, 已威脅到了本人和家人的人身安全, 本人從部落格和youtube留言版上也看到, 有人揚言要放火燒屋和殺害本人.此聲明稿希望有善心人士能幫忙將歌曲翻譯成馬來文, 以讓更多人了解本人創作並無惡意.因為本人也有很多青梅竹馬的馬來族好友,本人不希望因為錯誤報導而失去這些好友.
5. 歌曲無法煽動族群:
該媒體除了對本人提出一系列不公平的報導以外, 還指控本人的創作有 "煽動族群"之意. 本人認為, 一首歌無法煽動族群, 更無法造成戰爭. 因為本人相信馬來西亞人民是具有判斷能力的, 而並非如此的無知. 若他們了解歌詞內容後，會知道歌曲純粹娛樂, 意圖簡單. 反而某些媒體的不專業和主觀的報導, 才是煽動族群的罪魁禍首!此事可大可小. 希望該媒體能作出澄清, 以確保本人和家人的安全.
6.歌曲應該翻譯:
本人強烈建議, 熱心人士可以幫忙翻譯歌詞內容, 中翻巫. 因為馬來族群有 "知"的權利.這樣也能讓馬來社會自行判斷本人的創作是否在"侮辱"國家, 民族, 宗教和政府. 這樣不但對本人, 也對馬來社會, 華人社會和馬來西亞的每一個人民公平.

Negarakuku is good, it helps to explain certain government policy which help make the Chinese perfom well in studies and competitive. Sorry, I think you have misunderstanding my meaning. I did not say that non-bumiputra is not talented enough while they can go in local Uni. I said while you are the top-student in local uni, you are just normal person in others Asia Universities, because why? The education system in local uni is really lousy; I think you should know it, right? The standard is low; the technology is out of dated; and the course mate is not competitive enough. The local system judge u as a top student, doesn’t means that you are right now in, understand my meaning? I’m graduated from oversea; I got a lot of friends graduated from local uni. I never say I’m smart bcoz I graduated oversea, but I can see they feel difficulty while start working (even they have to study many years in uni). They still have to spend sometime to handle it. How come? Whose fault? Education? Government? Or Student? That’s a waste while a talented student go in local Uni.. This education system is wasting their time.

But recent events proved more ominous. Online search will reveal the extent of change (decline) in freedom and social equity (specific events + general atmosphere) and its reflected in internal as well as overseas websites which anyone can Google.
In such circumstances, ordinary citizens should voice their opinion to prevent politicians (real / otherwise, establishment / opposition) misrepresenting their views and substituting untruths as the accepted norm.
For what are politicians but elected representatives of the free people.
If the masses are clamped down upon, isn't it the same as a pressure cooker ? Only the addition of water can a curry be diluted. Likewise, the airing of views will integrate diverse viewpoints, and from there a concensus will appear. We can see that even in Indonesia, the most populated Islamic country in the world, the Muslims sit down in a forum with other religious figures.
To those who impose thier stand on a society expressing themselves, they are akin to nila merosakkan susu sebelanga.
Freedom, in a non-communist country is integral to quality life.

眼看着巫统领袖对黄明志创作的Negarakuku饶舌歌大肆鞭挞，经过马来报章的报导后引发马来社会群起而攻之，行动党和公正党当然出师有名替黄明志辩护。尤其行动党手脚快的很，老早已先向黄明志伸出橄榄枝，积极邀请他入党，但仍遭黄明志拒绝。之后，行动党仍然不忘为民“伸张正义”的角色，林冠英更亲自出马到麻坡去探访黄明志的父亲，表达行动党对黄明志事件的关注，并且随时提供法律援助。在野党在此事的反应远比马华公会来得积极，而政党之间的较劲也让原本一件小事搞到国际社会也好奇的关心一下，显见大马人喜欢小题大作。
国歌事件对马华构成不小压力
黄明志因为无心之过而出事，最主要原因是因为有些人要为个人政途捞些本钱，把小事喧哗斗大，想藉由此事件向上头邀功，企图透过此事来延续政治生命。马华当中有些领袖在初期有人大摆官架子要对付黄明志，当行动党在黄明志的国歌事件抢尽风头之后，已对马华构成不小的压力。之后，马青团开始说些不一样的话，马华当中也出现声援黄明志的声音。当然，不难察觉，和主流人马不同阵营的马华领袖这时候似乎三缄其口，尤其柔佛州马华的反应似乎比较冷淡。
随着高教部副部长翁诗杰、青体部副部长廖中来陆续开腔后，黄家定果然英明，在紧要关头拍版，要马华的麻坡领袖处理此事，相信也同时对巫统做出一些协调工作把整件事给降温。马华公会在重要关头插手，想必是不想让整个事件继续升温。当然，国阵政府也不愿让此事闹大，一来五十年国庆迫在眉睫，二来相信大选不久后就举行，选在这个时候对付黄明志引发的后遗症威力有多大难以预料。
若投入行动党怀抱就“西北够力”
倘若黄明志真要罚款坐牢，有人说若这年轻人心有不甘而投入行动党怀抱，还很可能代表该党出战麻坡峇吉里国会议席，说不定马华原任议员蔡锐明还会因被黄家定排除在大选名单之外而暗助黄明志。倘若黄明志不参选，但却成立摇滚乐助选团，在大选提名后投票前到全国所有行动党出战的选区巡回演唱，义助行动党拉票，这种情况对马华来说可是“西北够力”的大件事。
当然，从黄明志及他父亲最近的公开谈话来看，他父子俩应当不想涉及政治。最好是大事化小事，小事他无事。在黄明志心里，应会不解歌曲创作为何在大马那么“政治”，倘若学成归国日后一定不得志。看在外国人眼里，尤其台湾社会的眼光，或许会觉得本地社会某些地方真的有点幼稚。
我相信黄明志此次必定会福大命大逃过一劫，因为黄明志三个字与“黄”家定“明”白他的“志”向似乎有些关连，黄家定必定是黄明志的贵人。黄明志，你放心，有马华公会出面一定不会有事。

Johor Bahru, 12 Ogos - Selepas 50 tahun kemerdekaan, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim meminta agar pemimpin Umno bersikap matang dan menerima tradisi perbincangan yang sihat.
Beliau telah memberikan komen mengenai isu lagu Negarakuku pada satu jamuan minum petang di Johor Bharu.
Datuk Seri Anwar juga berkata, kita boleh memilih untuk bersetuju atau tidak dengan pendapat Wee dalam lagu yang dibuat olehnya, tetapi dalam masa yang sama kita perlu menghormati kebebasan bersuara.
“Kita harus belajar untuk bertolak ansur serta menimbangkan sebarang kritikan yang dibuat oleh anak muda khususnya. Beliau yang juga bekas seorang pemimpin gerakan anak muda juga meminta supaya anak muda lebih didekati.”

教育部应全面承认统考文凭
董教总等促请教长一视同仁

【本刊记者撰述】教育部长希山慕丁昨天宣布同意录取独中生进入师训学院受训，并成为国小华文教师，解决国小华文师资不足的问题。包括董教总在内的党团今天纷纷回应，促请教育部全面承认独中统考文凭，并且一视同仁，让独中毕业生到各源流学校执教，以解决华小数十年来的师资荒。
董教总今天发表声明说，华小和国小都是国家教育体系的一环，教育部关注国小华文师资不足问题的同时，也不能够忽略了华小的师资培训。
“华小师资不足问题是华社长期以来所关注的课题，根据教育部的统计，目前华小还缺乏近千名华文老师，因此，若不及时给予关注，随着华小所需要的老师逐年增加，将导致师资短缺问题越来越严重。”
因此，董教总吁请教育部拟定完善的师资培训制度，让独中生不只到国小执教，同时也应该培训独中生到华小执教，以全面解决华小和国小华文师资不足的问题。
教育部长希山慕丁（左图）昨天在吉隆坡说，教育部同意录取独中生进入师训学院受训，并成为国小华文教师，以解决师资的问题。他也说，教育部决定培训独中生为国小华文教师是提供独中生的出路的努力，也是教育部认为应当做的事。【点击《光华日报》：解决师资问题 教部允独中生当教师】
董教总说，华文独中的办学方针不但符合教育部课程纲要的需求，而且数十年来，为我国培育了数以万名具备三种语文基础的高中毕业生，并对国家的建设做了积极贡献。
董教总相信，若教育部录取独中生进入师训学院受训，以在毕业后派往国小执教华文班，不但能够解决国小华文师资不足的问题，也有助于提升华文教学水平。
董教总吁请教育部尽快公布独中生进入教育部师训课程的详情，包括日后教学安排的基本情况，以让有兴趣申请进入师训课程的独中生尽早做好准备。
董教总也认为，教育部应该全面承认独中统考文凭作为进入师范学院和政府大专院校的入学资格，以培养更多的建国人才。
“过去都有一些独中生以马来西亚教育文凭（SPM）申请进入师训课程，并在受训后成为华小老师。随着教育部表示原则上同意聘请独中生到国小教华文，董教总希望政府能够正式宣布接受独中统考文凭作为进入师训的资格，以鼓励更多独中生申请，进而协助解决华文师资不足的问题。”
杨国瑞：合约聘雇没有保障
吉隆坡南区发展华小工委会主席杨国瑞说，华教界十多年来不断提出培训独中生作为华小师资来源的建议，但遗憾的是政府并不接纳此建议；如今教育部在大选前主动提出，似乎沫上了一层政治意味。
杨国瑞也置疑政府是否认为，独中生的华文程度会比国中生强，国中生如果与同样受过培训的独中生比较，在某些基础知识上会逊色于后者。“如今政府要培训独中生作为国小教师，是因为政府要将好的师资调往国小，以提升国小成为家长首选的学校？”
他表示，“以合约方式聘请合格的独中生到国小执教，是为将来随时取消该项措施预设条件。一旦政府认为无须再录取独中生，或无须独中出身的教师执教，合约方式便发挥作用”。
另一方面，他认为该项聩请方式会减低独中生参加师训的意愿，因为他们感到忧虑，苦读了数年的师训，换来一纸文凭却只能在国小执教，一旦不被续聘，生活与前途将无保障。
杨国瑞认为，无论是独中生或国中生，政府必须要有完整的计划为他们进行师资培训，以作为各语文源流学校的华文师资。同时，不应该以合约方式征聘刚毕业的师训班教师，应该让他们发挥专业知识和精神在教育工作上。
章瑛：全面承认统考文凭
民主行动党副秘书长兼教育局主任章瑛（右图）也促请国阵政府全面承认独中统考文凭和中港台大学文凭，让这些毕业生也能申请进入师训，成为各源流学校的老师；她认为，这是善用本国人力资源，解决华文教师短缺的问题的最佳方案。
她也促请高等教育部接受统考文凭为申请进入本地政府大学的条件之一，因为全球各国已有约五百所大学，包括最尖顶的大学已接受统考文凭，新加坡大学更是每年提供奖学金吸引独中毕业生前往深造，政府如果爱惜人力资源，就不能再不承认统考文凭。
福联青：应一视同仁
马来西亚福联青也吁请教育部长希山慕丁尽快拟定更开明的政策，让独中毕业生在师训结业后，可到华小执教，以解决华小长期以来闹师荒的窘境。
马来西亚福联青团长翁隆秋表示，华校严重缺乏中文师资一直都是华社关注的问题，长期师资短缺导致华小学生不能在很好的学习环境中成长。
他说：“马来西亚是个多元民族社会，具有丰富和多姿多彩的不同文化传统与风俗，因此要达致全民团结，首先必须承认及接受我国社会的多元性本质；为此，我国的语文，教育及文化政策必须符合我国的民情。”
他呼吁希山慕丁一视同仁，让各源流小学都能分得公平的资源，而非仅限于国小。

也是主讲人之一的回教党雪州宣传主任沙礼顺吉（Saari Sungib，右图）则举最严重巴士车祸为例，呼吁正视“没载客、没薪水”的巴生公司薪金制度。尽管这起“造成20人死、9人伤”的意外肇因有待鉴定，也有人举证此巴士司机曾接获13传单而不受对付，然而沙礼顺吉却认为，“没载客则没薪水”的制度造成司机必需接下最多的班次，以挣钱养家，造成一些司机在精神欠佳的状况下开车，殃及乘客。

政官贪腐、警队缺诚信
阿兹敏也炮轰政府与警队机构互相包庇彼此的贪腐行为，描绘马来西亚当下反贪局主任、总警长与副国安部长在面对贪污指控后，就“你调查我、我调查你；你包庇我、我包庇你”。他指现任总警长慕沙哈山（Musa Hassan）是“道德与原则破产”的领导人，并放话若人民公正党执政，将把这名总警长带上法庭。
也是该党鹅唛（Gombak）区部主席的阿兹敏（左图），大肆抨击警察在上周六（8月11日）该党举行的群众演说后，扣留该党租借的音响系统之举动。他透露，该党活动本来顺利举行，警方却在散场后，用10辆警车、约50名政治部人员，包围鹅唛大草场，并当场取走音响系统。
他说：“要捉就捉我，捉回教党鹅唛区部主席哈达蓝立（Hatta Ramli），我们被捉惯了，可以理解。但是你（警察）扣留麦克风干嘛？直到现在音响系统还在雪州安邦（Ampang）警局内。我警告警察，如果不在24小时内归还我们的音响系统，我将在周四（8月16日）报警。”
阿兹敏认为，国家独立50周年却败坏至此，故看不出独立50周年有何意义。
赛夫丁：抹煞独立斗士的功劳
该党选举策略主任赛夫丁（Saifuddin Nasution Ismail）也形容当权政府已经到了束手无策（desperate）的地步，而必须在历史中抹煞先贤独立的贡献，混淆马来西亚的新生代。
赛夫丁（左图）追溯到Tok Janggut、阿都拉曼（Abdul Rahman Limbong）等对抗英殖民政府的历史，惟表示这些抗英事迹对巫统而言是“没有关系”（irrelevant）的，更抨击巫统在历史中诈骗。
该党首领安华是当晚最后一名主讲人，他举“回教国争议”为例，指“全国唯独首相与副首相能对此课题发表谈话”，直指执政党将人民视为“愚民”。
他说：“我们必须对本身信念有勇气，否则我们将在倒退。”
昨晚发表演说的包括该党妇女组主席朱艾达（Zuraida Kamaruddin）与泗岩沫区部主席依德里斯（Idris）。朱艾达也非议马来西亚在独立50周年的当下，人民负担越来越重，而女性也不享有应有的地位。

阿兹敏也炮轰政府与警队机构互相包庇彼此的贪腐行为，描绘马来西亚当下反贪局主任、总警长与副国安部长在面对贪污指控后，就“你调查我、我调查你；你包庇我、我包庇你”。他指现任总警长慕沙哈山（Musa Hassan）是“道德与原则破产”的领导人，并放话若人民公正党执政，将把这名总警长带上法庭。
也是该党鹅唛（Gombak）区部主席的阿兹敏（左图），大肆抨击警察在上周六（8月11日）该党举行的群众演说后，扣留该党租借的音响系统之举动。他透露，该党活动本来顺利举行，警方却在散场后，用10辆警车、约50名政治部人员，包围鹅唛大草场，并当场取走音响系统。
他说：“要捉就捉我，捉回教党鹅唛区部主席哈达蓝立（Hatta Ramli），我们被捉惯了，可以理解。但是你（警察）扣留麦克风干嘛？直到现在音响系统还在雪州安邦（Ampang）警局内。我警告警察，如果不在24小时内归还我们的音响系统，我将在周四（8月16日）报警。”
阿兹敏认为，国家独立50周年却败坏至此，故看不出独立50周年有何意义。
赛夫丁：抹煞独立斗士的功劳
该党选举策略主任赛夫丁（Saifuddin Nasution Ismail）也形容当权政府已经到了束手无策（desperate）的地步，而必须在历史中抹煞先贤独立的贡献，混淆马来西亚的新生代。
赛夫丁（左图）追溯到Tok Janggut、阿都拉曼（Abdul Rahman Limbong）等对抗英殖民政府的历史，惟表示这些抗英事迹对巫统而言是“没有关系”（irrelevant）的，更抨击巫统在历史中诈骗。
该党首领安华是当晚最后一名主讲人，他举“回教国争议”为例，指“全国唯独首相与副首相能对此课题发表谈话”，直指执政党将人民视为“愚民”。
他说：“我们必须对本身信念有勇气，否则我们将在倒退。”
昨晚发表演说的包括该党妇女组主席朱艾达（Zuraida Kamaruddin）与泗岩沫区部主席依德里斯（Idris）。朱艾达也非议马来西亚在独立50周年的当下，人民负担越来越重，而女性也不享有应有的地位。

I sincerely hope that all of you take namewee's song as a production of inspirational, creativity and truthful thoughts. Not only namewee's but anyone else songs that speaks of the truth are admired and appreciated!!!
So many comments have been mentioned here and I would like to feedback some of my thoughts too.
1st:
The so called "bumiputra" and "non-bumiputra" terms are the real trigger of all this. Most of the malay in Malaysia are not the earliest occupant in this country, Chinese only came a couple of years later to this country and hence we are branded non-bumiputra. A whole lot of Indonesian came to Malaysia and successfully applied as BUMIPUTRAS. How do we Chinese who are all born here feel?? If government really wants to decrease racism, these titles BUMIPUTRA n NON-BUMIPUTRA should be remove, as other countries like USA does. If government really wants peace, no such terms should be printed on birth certs/IC/passport.
2nd:
I totally agree with Hideaki there. A lot of racist stuff is going on but were not taken action because they are Malay. Even the "bocor" case were hush and no action has been taken to the 2 politician who has spoken the offended words. They have actually violated human rights and if UN were to handle cases like these, those 2 idiots would not be laughing away secretly.
3rd:
I know that the protection to Bumiputras are set long ago and this fact cannot be changed. However, if a developing country really wants peace and equal rights to all, surely these protections must be abandoned? How do we expect us to move forward together if we were to keep sniping at each other's benefits and loses? I think, to quote Doleres Umbridge, "progress for progress sake must be discouraged, for our tried and tested traditions often require no tinkering. A balance, between old and new, between permanence and change, between tradition and inovation.... some changes will be for the better, while others will come in the fullness of times, to be recognised as errors of judgement. Meanwhile, some old habits will be retained and rightly so, whereas others, outmod and outworn, must be abandoned. Let us move forward then into a new era of openness, effectivess and accountability, intent on preserving what ought to be preserved, perfecting what needs to be perfected, and pruning wherever we find practices that ought to be prohibited." This is truly true to our country, if not at Harry Potter's.
If anybody has notices, our country is in chaos. Those that are under their blankets pretending all is pretty and nice are fooling themselves. Firstly , I am no racist. I have close friends from different races. And hell, we could even crack racist jokes among each other and laugh about it.
I would like to address those ppl who leave comments such as Cina = komunis or Cina , go back to your own country. Please do no make such sweeping statements. I, myself, oppose the flawed communistic idealism. If you have research history, it is actually through dictatorship that China was once communist and it was not formed through popular vote or the majority of the country. To add further, some of the leaders of the communist party in Malaysia pre-Merdeka, surprise surprise, were Malay too. Check that out in history.
Next, we were immigrants as much as Malays and Indians long time ago.
Look up international history websites to know the history of South East Asia.
The only "bumis" are really the Orang Asli community. So please do not use such statements.
As far as the song lyrics concerned, there will be 2 sides of a coin. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and no doubt will stir confrontation as very often, these opinions conflict each other. But, is it really correct to slam someone based on your own interpretations of the FACTS, without finding out what the author actually meant?
If the author explained that his intention is harmless, why should we insist that he meant otherwise?

Firstly, I have nothing against Muslims or other religion. To me, all religion preach peace and harmony. I understand the calling of Azan, and know many Muslims feel insulted by the lyrics. I , too, experienced it for 5 years of my secondary school life. However, living in a multiracial society, we have to tolerate and sometimes review our practices if it is up to date. In a modern society whereby most ppl work late would really appreciate uninterrupted sleep and being woken up by the call is really unpleasant. For the longest time, I thought hey, is it possible for Muslims to call for other for prayer without disturbing other ppl, tired from the days work to have uninterrupted rest? It is a win win situation there implemented in Britain. Why not in Malaysia? We do have the infrastructure.
This is just one example on how we could do things a bit differently that could really make a big difference. There are other practices from other religious that are not that pleasant to other ppl. So? We should really reach a compromise. Sit down and talk, like civilized ppl. Be open and objective. This is what we should be as Malaysian rather than accusing each other, or calling each other names.
As for the rest of the songs that is aiming at the issues faced by Malaysia. I say it is well written. Next time, maybe try to give your lyrics a deep thought and to judge if your lyrics would strike some sensitive chords(pun is fully intended :P) among our friends from other races and followers of other religion.

You can make steak with Beef in different cooked level, namely Done, Medium done, Medium and so on. But with Pork, you must handle with care! Only fully cooked Pork can be consumed. This is the natural characteristics of these 2 kind of meats. The Arabian also said that, in ancient time. Ppl ate raw Pork and coz lots of diseases. It was then prohibited and jadi tak halal.
Unlike in China, the Chinese cooking can handle Pork with lots of styles.

What is the right word to describe Azan if "nyanyian" is not the right word? I only know it is Muslim morning sembahyang untill I recently learn it called "Azan"
Hear it from far away (for those do not know Islam in depth), it really sound like singing to me (You can ask foreigners for feedback). If you can not accept such unharmed(to me) description, you probably can not accept people describe it as noise. After all, it is still "Azan", no matter how other people describe it.
Talking about "sensitif" part. I wish you also sensitive the way you "Azan"(am I using it the right way?). Many others people are still trying to get some good night sleep. How come you never sensitive about that for many years?

Look what happen after last Indonesian riot...The world is against Indonesian; rich Chinese is moving out, the country is facing economic crisis. Look at middle-east, fight against within the region, within the country. What do they get? Few get the power, the rest of the citizen are suffer. Look at Chinese 5000 years history, fighting within the region. What did they get? Look at USA history in 1700-18xx, fighting within the region, what did they get?
Moving to 21st century, we have to work together and treat each other fairly. Look at USA, they have policies to help minority, to help the citizen regardless of your race, skin color... The "truth" have been discussed widely in M'sia community. It never been raised the "fire" to this level until some politician to make the song becomes "racial tension" issue. I am true peace supporter, not racist supporter. We recognize the issue that we want to correct it in the civilized way. They are some shouting on each others. I personally think it is harmful and unnecessary. Even without this song, this kind of people also shouting on each others at the back end.
I personally think Namewee initial purpose is trying to reflect the current situation in society. He neither say it good or bad. It is all up to you - how you read/listen to it. Namewee has said it many times that he does not mean to insult or create any racial tension.
Before negarakuku, he has "Muar Chinese" which also reflects the language/tone/style that current Chinese generation is using. From traditional Chinese point of view, the language/tone/style is very impolite (others maybe memang suka); however, it is the fact that the way of speak becomes a culture in Chinese community. As a parents and senior in the Chinese community, we have to find a way to correct it. I could not blame him for sing out "the ugly" (my personal opinion) side. If we think it is a problem, then we have to correct it. We don't kill messenger, period.

This country saya memang suka juga. There is someone to wake me up in there morning, I do not have to remember to set alarm clock. I can save some money too. In addition, it sounds much better than alarm clock.
Without Government policy, I probably have to study in local U. My parents probably will not send me oversea - so I could not kau ang moh gal. I have to work my way up without my parents on my sides. The good thing is my work becomes my fundamental strength so I can survive (nah..I simply do better than many others) under competition.
Good that government officers works slowly, so I do not have to pay my saman so quick. I can use it on something else (duh...they start to collect $ from me now)
Their easy living lifestyle makes my life easy too. I do not have to rush..unlike in Singapore, I have to walk faster to catch up their step.
I am 独中生 (Pelajar Sekolah Cina), so I could not make it to local U. My parents have to send me oversea to pursuit my study. It allows me to see the other side of the world, see the true democracy, no longer living inside my well. (I really learn a lot from other cultures)
Well, after all, I am back to M'sia to stay with my family. Use my knowledge to contribute to the society (of course, making money to improve my living lifestyle lah)

马华公会副总会长、卫生部长蔡细历昨天召开记者会，转达黄明志向政府及国人道歉的意愿；蔡细历在会上形容黄明志是个“入世未深的年轻人”，并指黄明志改编国歌创作《我爱我的国家Negarakuku》是希望在创作路上一举成名，而这种想法有点幼稚。
时事评论人赖昭光认为，黄明志纯粹是为了道歉而道歉，但道歉并不会减低其创作所产生的影响力；他的道歉也不会遏止这种趋势，还是会有后来者从事这类创作，因此与其担心这类创作的出现，不如面对这股趋势。
赖昭光反诘道：“黄明志今天是道歉了，但是他歌词里面说的东西就变成胡说八道了吗？他道歉只是避免让家人受本地政客的施压。”
赖昭光（右图）对《独立新闻在线》说，马华公会通过麻坡党要联系黄明志的父亲黄安熙，是一种地方关系政治，即利用当地领袖与黄安熙的关系施压。他们采取半游说半施压的方式，要黄明志别让家人难堪，家人可能也是受不了这些地方领袖的干扰，不想把事情闹大，才要黄明志道歉。

大将出版社主编刘艺婉是一名创作者，她也认为黄明志根本无需道歉，《我爱我的国家Negarakuku》是创作，而创作无需符合官方政治正确的意识形态，“如果要符合政治正确的意识形态，就不是创作了。”
刘艺婉认为《我爱我的国家Negarakuku》并没有窜改国歌歌词，而且他填写的中文歌词所陈述的事情，的确存在于我们现实生活中。
“黄锦树的作品也反思了回教徒的身份问题，游川的诗也提到回教堂祈祷的声音，黄明志只是把我们避而不谈的事物选出来谈。这些事物都在我们周围发生，我们不一定要根据官方的标准创作。种族问题更是需要理性、坦白处理，不是一昧以敏感为由避而不谈。”

副首相纳吉罔顾国家宪法与建国原则，擅自宣布马来西亚一直以来都是回教国，不仅伤害了国民的感受，更动摇了建国基础和宪政原则，他是否曾收回讲话公开道歉？
巫青团副团长凯里去年多次在巫青区团大会上发表“种族论赢输论”，指华人将会借巫统党争的机会来牟取族群利益。这名驸马爷为了抄捷径攀上权力阶梯，不惜煽动种族情绪，营造族群危机意识，事后不仅没有道歉，反而放狠话说“我们为甚么要道歉呢？ ”
巫青团长希山慕丁在两届巫统大会上高举马来短剑，将暴力文化渗入政治运动，大肆鼓吹种族主义。他同样不曾道歉悔过，反以非马来社会对马来文化遗产认知不足等似是而非的悖论来狡辩，还要马青为他暖颊解围。
国会国阵后座议员俱乐部在国会的停车场宰杀牛羊，以庆祝首相新婚，不但亵渎国家最高立法机构，更侮辱了兴都教，然而，国会国阵后座议员俱乐部主席拉惹阿末除了逃避问题，敷衍回应，我们有看到他向触犯兴都教徒的宗教敏感而道歉吗?
如果掌握国家政治权力的执政领袖，都没有为推卸政治责任、合理化暴力流氓文化、侮辱宗教的行为，以及违宪、煽动种族情绪的言论，向选民道歉仟悔并负上政治代价，反过来他们凭什么要求把一些民间普遍流传的言论加入音乐创作里的黄明志道歉，甚至以个人自由作为代价？
50年前就施行民主制度的马来西亚，其首相在弃水灾灾民不顾之后，仍可以大言不惭地自称是全民首相，州务大臣则将大水灾归咎予老天。无论国家出现什么危机与惨剧；政策出现什么失误与舞弊，这个国家的执政领袖从来无需承担一丁点的责任，连一声“对不起”也省了。

Freedom comes at a price. And it takes a lot of effort and sacrifices... Of all the people nowadays, how many percent would really stand up and fight? How many would risk their lives to help acquire freedom? Not many. Most of them is "you die ur problem" attitude. That is why a lot of coward hiding inside MCA, waiting to be fed.
The generation these days have changed. They look up to money more than anything else. But I got a feeling there will be a revolution for our generation... I just wanna see how long BN can stand up with their current attitude.
I must admit, that I don't like to see the chinese and indians being treated like second class citizen, I don't like the fact that our government practices double standards. The problem here is the government and the politicians, those who are in power. The problem is NOT racial (the malays).
I'd say the majority of us have great malay friends, not all of them are fanatics. What namewee has done, was that he's used visual insinuations and suggestions which have indirectly offended the malays. No matter how we'd like to analyze the lyrics and defend the sincerity of namewee, the damage has been done, and people have been offended. Namewee has also written 'kawanku', which I think is rude and offensive to other races.
Being a matured individual, he should've been more careful in his actions, and take into consideration the situation he's putting his family into. By generalizing the whole issue/problem and blame it on one single race, 1) he's not solving anything, 2) he's making it very difficult for even his malay friends to defend him.
Gandhi and Nelson Mandela never made any big changes by using racial slurs and foul language. It's through understanding, loving kindness and peace.

掌管法律事务的首相署部长纳兹里阿兹（Nazri Aziz，右图）今天在吉隆坡为玛拉工艺大学的一项会议主持开幕后透露，内阁决定援引《1948年煽动法令》对付黄明志，而如何起诉黄明志及是否将他从台湾引渡回国等工作细节，将交由总检察署处理。
纳兹里说，黄明志制作《我爱我的国家Negarakuku》不只是侮辱个人，而是侮辱整个国家，因此内阁不会原谅他。
纳兹里也警告公众不能转载《我爱我的国家Negarakuku》。
黄明志现年24岁，毕业于柔佛州麻坡中化中学，目前在台湾铭传大学传播学院深造。
蔡细历：内阁接受道歉
另一方面，今天的《星洲日报》引述马华公会副总会长、卫生部长蔡细历的话说，他和马华公会总会长、房屋及地方政府部长黄家定在昨天的内阁会议里提出黄明志事件，而内阁也基本上接受黄明志的道歉。

政府只会照顾土族翻译成 kerajaan hanya akan jaga rakyat tertentu 也不妥。土族是指什么人。新经济政策是通过国会通过的法律。新经济政策在条例上不是一个 discrimatory policy 而是一个 preferencial policy．当初这个政策是通过议会民主通过的。当时的国会都有华人和印度人的代表。

你进入独中时难道不知道独中生毕业了要进local大学西北难吗？独中采用的并不是国家的 national curriculum，而是采用台湾的课程。你说政府的一个伟大的计划就是有什么他要独中生到处跑，出国自己找希望有什么证据。其实，政府并不鸟你们这些独中生而已。

Negarakuku 的意思大概就是‘我的negaraku'或‘my negaraku',为什么你的脑袋那么脏？
当然明志在宗教和种族服饰上有了过火的表达，这个他是有错。反正早上的声音都习惯了，只希望我们在本身的宗教仪式上不要遭到阻难。
新经济政策你认为有照顾到我们？（或许你的身份证上是xxx bin xxx）你很乐意把自己的30%奉上？国会里的华裔和印裔的声音足够投反对票？我告诉你，反对的就是‘挑起了种族课题’可以引用‘内按法令’把你关起来。甚至要你'balik tong shan'。或者像最近我们尊敬的巫统宣传主任斯里莫哈末泰益说的：‘或将引发比513种族冲突事件更严重的情况’。那请问利以他们的政策还要不要反对？
当然犯了交通规则可以拒绝给kopi-o。可是很奇怪的是发生了交通意外去交通部报案时如果不给kopi-o的话，那张saman就奉上给你，就算错不在我，对方也可以安然无恙。还有还有...如果双方都请他喝，还要看谁的价钱出的高。不骗你，是我的亲身经历。很好笑咯...我们的执法人员都要带着那个‘anti rasuah'来提醒自己，想来是怕无法控制自己吧？（事实上戴了也依然是不受控制的）
你不了解独中请不要乱批评，我们不是采用台湾课程。而且都采用三语课程，尤其是英语。独中生的数学或其他科目在本地政府考试都能有很好的成绩。（不像有些人，宗教科目拿多两课就无端端SPM多了两个A，奇怪，为什么没有佛学或圣经学的科目呢？）
还有，独中生不是一定去台湾的，明志只是打个比喻，我们当中也很多从日本，美国，纽西兰，澳洲，英国...回来的，新加坡甚至给了助学金然我们入读。所以...很多国家都承认我们独中的文凭...除了我们亲爱的国家--马来西亚。
或者你不认为独中生进入本地大学很难，可事实就是如此，你去马大看看有多少华人？在现有的固打之下有多少机会？可是你知不知道，我有一位成绩不理想的马来朋友竟然收到大学的来函，问他有没有兴趣入读其大学。我听了竟然想哭...
当然国家才不会叫我们回来报答，因为都是爸妈供我们去国外读书，不是国家，回来了也只能是报答爸妈而不是国家...哈哈哈。（事实上很多土族拿了政府的助学金去了国外读完了大学也不肯回来‘报答’国家的）我告诉我的孩子，有机会出去了就落地生根，不要回来了，反正在国内国外我们都是二等公民，可是至少在国外，我们不必贡献30%...不必养猪。

Sick of the government of M'sia, if you won't treasure your talent, others will. How many Malaysian talent (Chinese, Malay, Indian) in Singapore, UK, US etc.
They feel proud of themselves not because they are Malaysian, BUT they are ABLE to leave their country! Think about the economic losses of talent leaving the country, you got to do something – M’sia government.
How many doctor in Singapore NUS hospital come from Malaysia, not because they are 2nd class doctor or they are not capable and competitive enough in Malaysia, because they able to make their choice to leave Malaysia.
