KEPADA SEMUA PIHAK MEDIA
MENUJUKAN KESILAPAN TENTANG LAPORAN BERITA PIHAK MEDIA METRO
Sebab-sebab menegaskan tentang kesilapan berita :
Pada 7 Aug 2007, saya mendapat tahu dari beberapa pihat tentang surat khabar Melayu – Metro dan berita dari televisyen melaporakan hasil ciptaan lagu saya baru-baru ini yang telah melanggar undang undang di Malaysia. Tetapi selepas saya membaca berita-berita yang berkenaan, saya mendapati bahawa berita yang dilaporkan oleh surat khabar Metro mempunyai kesilapan yang serious. Pihak pemberita menggunakan cara yang agak subjektif untuk melaporkan berita ini dan menyebabkan masyarakat salah faham tentang hasil karyaan yang telah saya ciptakan.
Pertama, pihak metro mengatakan hasil ciptaan lagu saya adalah menghina negara, bangsa, agama dan kerajaan tanpa memahami maksud tersirat lirik tersebut.
Kedua, pihak metro tidak menterjemahkan lirik cina ke melayu agar pihak ramai boleh memahami lirik tersebut dan menilai maksud yang disampaikan ataupun adakah lirik saya ini adalah menghina negara, bangsa, agama ataupun kerajaan. Disebabkan ini ialah lagu cina, masyarakat melayu tidak dapat memahami maksud yang hendak disampaikan dan mereka hanya boleh mengetahui maksud lirik ini melalui pihak media.Saya berasa pihak media tidak patut disebabkan hasil jualan dan melaporkan perkara yang tidak benar dengan tidak profesion.
Di sini, saya ingin menerangkan beberapa keraguan dalam isu ini
1. Sebab apa saya mencipta lagu ini pada awalnya
Saya meminat memain muzik. Kali ini, saya akan menggunakan lagu Negaraku sempena hari Kemerdekaan yang akan datang. Saya tidak berniat untuk menghina negara tercinta – Malaysia. Terdapat banyak cara untuk mencipta sebuah lagu dan salah satu cara ialah ‘sampling’ yang akan menjadikan sebuah lagu jadi effect lain. Dalam kes ini, saya telah memilih lagu Negaraku. Apa yang saya hendak FOKUS disini ialah lagu Negaraku adalah sebuah lagu yang perlu dihormati. Dengan itu, apabila saya mencipta lagu ini saya TIDAK ubah melodi dan lirik lagu Negaraku tetapi saya mengunakan melodi dan lirik asalnya. Namun begitu, saya juga megubahkan cara untuk mempersembahkan lagu ini kepada cara R&B. Sebelum ini, terdapat ramai orang mengubah cara nyanyian lagu Negaraku di pelbagai persembahan terbuka termasuk sambutan sempena Hari Kemerdekaan. Berdasarkan dari segi muzik, sekiranya lagu ciptaan tetap mengamalkan maksud asalnya, saya berasa tidak ada apa-apa yang tidak kena. Tetapi kalau hasil cipta saya betul-betul melanggar undang-undang, saya berasa amat kesal!
2. Menegaskan kebenaran
Lagu ini cuma menglibatkan lirik Negaraku di bahagian korus manakala di bahagian verse saya telah menggunakan kemahiran rap. Lirik dalam bahagian rap yang saya mempersembahkan kebanyakan adalah berdasarkan dari apa yang pernah saya atau kawan alami. Apa yang saya hendak fokus disini ialah saya menggunakan cara huraian untuk menyampaikan maksud lagu tersebut dan bukannya mengkritik. Tujuannya adalah untuk membiarkan pendengar menilaikan betul salahnya. Contohnya, dalam lirik saya ada mengatakan orang cina sukar mendapat tawaran dari universiti tempatan tetapi saya tidak mengesahkan bahawa itu adalah satu perkara yang baik atau tidak. Saya cuma menghuraikan perkara tersebut dan membiarkan pendengar yang menentu perkara tersebuat adakah betul atau salah.
3. TIDAK menghina agama
Sekali lagi saya menerangkan bahawa saya tidak mengkritik apa-apa sahaja termasuk agama.Salah satu dari bahagian lirik saya ada mengatakan yang sebahagian orang islam melafazkan Al-Quran out of tune, ada pula yang pecah nada, dan ada yang macam kokokan ayam.Lirik-lirik yang saya huraikan diatas, saya ada menyatakan SEBAHAGIAN dari mereka yang melafazkan Al-Quran dan bukannya semua orang. Saya sebagai seorang ahli muzik senang bagi saya membezakan penyanyi yang out of tune ataupun pecah nada. Sekali lagi saya menerangkan yang saya TIDAK mengkritik sebarang tentang agama tetapi saya cuma menyuarakan kemahiran mereka di bahagian nyanyi seperti apabila kami dengar kawan-kawan kita nyanyi tidak bagus dan menyuarakan pendapat sahaja. Saya harap masyarakat tidak terlalu sensitive terhadap isu ini dan sememangnya saya sendiri amat hormat setiap agama kerana agam tidak boleh dilanggar.
4. Ganguan yang dialami kerana kesalahan yang dibuat dari pihak media
Disebabkan kesalahan pihak media melaporkan berita ini, ia menyebabkan orang ramai tidak boleh menilaikan betul salah terhadap isi kandungan lyric lagu ini dan ia juga mengancam keselamatan keluarga saya. Saya menerima comment-comment dari blog dan youtube yang mengatakan mereka hendak membakar rumah dan membunuh saya. Di sini, saya ingin mengharapkan orang baik di luar sana agar menterjemahkan lirik cina ini kepada melayu supaya orang ramai boleh memahami isi tersirat yang ingin saya sampaikan dan biar orang ramai tahu yang saya sebenarnya tidak berniat jahat dalam ciptaan lagu ini. Sebenarnya saya sendiri mempunyai ramai kawan melayu sejak kecil, saya tidak ingin disebakan kesilapan laporan berita ini dan menghilang sahabat-sahabat karib saya.
5. Sekiranya lagu ini tidak mengapi-apikan masyarakat
Selain dari mereport perkara yang tidak adil bagi saya, pihak media yang berkenaan juga mengatakan lagu ciptaan saya mengapi-apikan masyarakat. Bagi saya, tidak mudah sesebuah lagu tidak mengapi-apikan masyarakat apatah lagi menyebabkan peperangan atau salah faham yang akan berlaku? Saya percaya bahawa rakyat Malaysia mempunyai kemampuan untuk bernilai sesuatu perkara sama ada betul atau salah. Sebenarnya orang ramai faham dengan lirik dalam lagu ini, mereka akan tahu lagu ini semata-mata hanyalah untuk hiburan. Disebaliknya, pihak media yang melaporkan perkara ini dengan tidak profesion dan subjektif adalah tujuan utama yang menyebabkan perkara ini berlaku! Ini adalah satu perkara yang serious dan saya berharap pihak media boleh memperbetulkan berita yang tidak berkenaan itu dan menjaminkan saya dan keluarga saya selamat.
6. Lirik lagu patut diterjemahkan
Saya bersungguh-sungguh mengharapkan sesiapa yang boleh menterjemahkan lirik lagu ini dari bahasa cina ke bahasa melayu agar orang melayu berhak mengetahui apa maksud lirik dalam lagu ini. Dengan ini, mereka juga boleh menilai adakah saya sedang menghina negara, rakyat, agama ataupun kerajaan. Dengan ini juga ia boleh memberi saya, masyarakat melayu, masyarakat cina mahupun rakyat malaysia satu pesanan yang adil.

黃明志申明稿---針對媒體(metro)錯誤報導一事
申明原由---錯誤報導:
本人於2007年8月7日, 從各界獲知, 馬來西亞的馬來文報(metro)和電視新聞都有報導關於本人的創作和觸法等等問題. 但經過本人查閱後, 驚覺某馬來文報(metro) 的報導出現嚴重錯誤. 錯誤在於該報採用主觀和極度負面手法去報導此事. 無疑造成了馬來社會的誤解. 第一點, 該報主觀判定本人創作是在 "侮辱" 或 "褻瀆" 國家, 民族, 宗教和政府. 第二點, 該報沒有將歌詞翻譯成馬來文, 以讓馬來讀者自行判斷. 因為歌曲本身是華語, 所以馬來人無從了解內容本身, 而只能透過媒體的報導去了解.本人覺得媒體不應為了銷售量或收視率而作出不專業的報導.
本人在此作出幾點解釋：
1. 歌曲創作初衷:
本人興趣做音樂, 使用國歌只是配合國慶日即將到來, 所做出的創作. 並無惡意. 創作歌曲方式很多, 其中一種叫做"取樣式"(sampling). 讓歌曲形成某種 "拼貼效果" . 本人創作時臨機一動取樣了國歌,但重點是, 國歌必須尊重, 所以創作的時候, 國歌本身的旋律和歌詞部分, 本人並沒有改過. 而是完完整整的取樣而已. 本人另外還做了"曲風"的變動，把原本古典式的唱法, 改編成了節奏藍調 (R&B) 式的唱法, 並重新編曲. 之前也有不少人曾在很多公開場改編國歌曲風，包括國慶典禮上都有不同的詮釋方式. 從音樂的角度上只要不扭曲國歌本意的話, 個人覺得並無不妥之處. 但如果此做法真的觸犯了國歌法令的話, 本人深感抱歉!
2.陳述事實並非批判:
本歌曲取樣國歌為副歌部分, 而主歌部分則是本人的原創饒舌(rap). 饒舌的歌詞主要在陳述本人在馬來西亞看到聽到的所見所聞. 重點是, 本人歌曲每一句都是以"陳述式" 的方式來表達, 並無任何 "批判性"的句子. 目的是想讓聽眾自己判斷是非. 比如歌詞中有提到關於華人很難進入國立大學就讀，本人並沒有批評此事是好是壞，只是在陳述事情而已，好壞在人們心中自有定奪！
3.絕對沒有侮辱宗教:
再次聲明, 本人沒有批評任何事物, 包括宗教部分. 歌詞中有一段提到, 有些回教誦經者會唱到走音, 有些則會唱到破音, 有些聲音像公雞.在以上每一句歌詞中, 都有寫到 "有些". 本人是音樂人, 可以輕易聽出有無走音或破音, 這些都是事實 (至少在我家附近的誦經者有些可能年紀問題, 會造成聲音無法控制而破音) . 重點是, 本人沒有批評宗教, 只是指出演唱上技巧不足的問題, 針對的是某些人的唱歌技巧部分, 並沒有牽涉到宗教. 就好像聽到朋友唱歌不好聽, 幽他一默而已. 請大眾勿過度敏感. 本人非常尊重每個宗教信仰. 因為宗教絕對是不容侵犯的.
4.錯誤報導造成的影響:
因為部分媒體主觀的報導, 造成馬來讀者無法自行判斷歌曲內容, 已威脅到了本人和家人的人身安全, 本人從部落格和youtube留言版上也看到, 有人揚言要放火燒屋和殺害本人.此聲明稿希望有善心人士能幫忙將歌曲翻譯成馬來文, 以讓更多人了解本人創作並無惡意.因為本人也有很多青梅竹馬的馬來族好友,本人不希望因為錯誤報導而失去這些好友.
5. 歌曲無法煽動族群:
該媒體除了對本人提出一系列不公平的報導以外, 還指控本人的創作有 "煽動族群"之意. 本人認為, 一首歌無法煽動族群, 更無法造成戰爭. 因為本人相信馬來西亞人民是具有判斷能力的, 而並非如此的無知. 若他們了解歌詞內容後，會知道歌曲純粹娛樂, 意圖簡單. 反而某些媒體的不專業和主觀的報導, 才是煽動族群的罪魁禍首!此事可大可小. 希望該媒體能作出澄清, 以確保本人和家人的安全.
6.歌曲應該翻譯:
本人強烈建議, 熱心人士可以幫忙翻譯歌詞內容, 中翻巫. 因為馬來族群有 "知"的權利.這樣也能讓馬來社會自行判斷本人的創作是否在"侮辱"國家, 民族, 宗教和政府. 這樣不但對本人, 也對馬來社會, 華人社會和馬來西亞的每一個人民公平.

Once again, Malaysian government is displaying their naivety!! How can we really compete in the world with such a 'kolot' and 'controlling' system that's holding onto the wrong end of the stick! Can't they see all of us are proud to be Malaysians...and because of that, we need to be honest with ourselves!

凯利与黄明志
凯利是个近30岁的马来年轻人。
去年他发表许多从种族思维出发的言论，包括巫统虚弱华社将乘机提出诉求，拒绝出售益资利股份予开出更高价的非马来人，以捍卫马来人的权益等种族输赢论，伤害其他种族感受的话。
当然，凯利即遭华社、中文媒体、华基政党的轮番炮轰，指他不尊重其他种族，指他伤害其他种族的感受，要求他道歉。
但是，凯利没有道歉，因为他认为自己只是为族群说话，自己没有错；而且他也认为是中文媒体曲解了他的谈话，是华社误解了他。
面对华社与中文媒体的舆论压力，凯利在马来族群里反而成为英雄，掀起“凯利效应”。马来社会普遍认为，凯利只是捍卫族群权益，他只是直话直说，他没有错，他是英雄。
黄明志是个20多岁的华裔年轻人。
他因为在网络上创作歌曲一炮而红。他在《麻坡人的华语》对外劳的歧视及“阿瓜”的嘲讽，还有满嘴的粗话，不过大家只是听了好玩。当他在《我爱我的国家Negarakuku》改编国歌（那一段是否有意侮辱国歌，见仁见智），但对回教堂诵经及马来妇人头巾开的“玩笑”却是事实。
结果，黄明志遭政府高官、马来团体组织及网民轮番炮轰，指他侮辱国歌、宗教和种族，要求他道歉，甚至要求政府对付他。
但是，支持黄明志的人与政党却认为，他只是说出社会事实，他没有错；黄明志也认为自己没有错，错是马来媒体曲解他的创作，因此不会低头道歉。
面对国家机器的压力，黄明志在一些人眼中成了英雄，甚至连陆庭谕先生都说他有林连玉精神。
乍看之下，30岁的凯利与20岁的黄明志，是否有相似之处？两人言行是否都只是由自己的种族思维出发呢？
煽动与否，除了当事人是否有意之外，还胥视周遭的人如何利用机会。尤其是攸关宗教与种族，不尊重与伤害其他种族感受的言论与歌曲，都可以经炒作形成燎原之火。
黄明志有创作与言论自由，同样凯利也有，但权利与责任是不能分开的，不论是不是年轻人，不论是在国内或国外？不论凯利与黄明志为什么样的议程而发表谈话和创作，他们烧起的两把火，让社会付出很大的代价，这才是最可悲的。

Basically, we have different culture value. Our wording may not seen offend but other race may read it differently. I believe Namewee does not anticipate it and he does not mean to insult Islam religion and Muslim.
In anyhow, other people feel insulted by our wording or language . We should ask for forgiveness and give them our point of view. Proper explanation and communication are the ways to resolve the conflict and misunderstood.
We should have this kind of depth discussion to find out our differences rather than shouting and yelling like those uncivilized politician - arrest, ISA, cancel citizenship, passport....against a youth man without knowledge of using inappropriate wording [from the view of Muslim](foreigners are really laughing at our government..seriously)

The fact that this song appears here (and also gained wide support) shows one thing:
"There is something wrong with existing govt policy."
Be positive,study why this might arise, use your best wisdom to correct it rather than cover it.
Also, pls also see things from other people perspective. There is too much one way communication in Malaysia. (E.g.) You can only listen to me on this and that. Any differences = non-patriotic.
If existing policy is so good, why are we behind Korea, Taiwan in terms of economy GDP (Compared with 1970s, we are better than them), now we are 3x behind them.
We seems OK now, that is because you have plenty of natural resources to waste. Now we are competing with Vietnam, Thailand, possibly indonesia.
The race problem is NOT from different venecular primary school.

The main problem starts:
1.When one go through local universities (Instantly he feels the differences - Note in secondary school he mixed with all races well)
2.When one start working.
3.When you start buying a house and browsing through newspaper.

If my son ask me a logical question, anyone who can afford that amount, does he still need help? (In the form of special discount depends on your colour?) I only can say the policy is wrong (in diverting resources to help the wrong people).

他表示不清楚這些高官們是否真正讀過黃明志的原文，瞭解其中真正的涵義？否則落得“一犬吠影，百犬吠聲”，以訛傳訛的地步，那是非常不幸和不理智的。

Since you're Chinese, that could be translated as "Negara ku negara lanciao?" But you would have known that right? You're Chinese ma.

I just want to point out that what Meng Chee sung in his negarakuku are real concerns in Malaysia, not lies or fabrication to cause unrest.

Sultan expresses concern over host of issues
SHAH ALAM: Immediate action must be taken to check corruption, bureaucratic red tape, race problems, religious intolerance, the brain drain and crime, the Sultan of Selangor said.
Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah said Malaysia had achieved tremendous progress over the last 50 years.
Describing Malaysia as a blessed country, he said the people certainly had much to be thankful for but should not rest on their laurels as Malaysians also needed to take stock of what the country needed to do in the next 50 years.
“Corruption is still a problem, which the people are very concerned about, and more effective action needs to be taken,” he said.
Describing corruption as a cancerous cell, the Sultan said if graft could not be wiped out, it should be checked effectively.

He acknowledged the Federal Government had set up the Special Task Force to Facilitate Business (Pemudah) to fast-track procedures and transactions between the Government and private sector.
“That is good but more needs to be done because the feedback from investors is that there is a greater need for a bigger push. Time waits for no one. We do not want investors to be discouraged from investing in Malaysia, as our neighbouring countries would also be willing to accept them.”
The Sultan also expressed his concern over the country’s brain drain, saying talented young people were leaving the country.
“No one, irrespective of his race, should be denied any opportunities. I am sad to see good people being lost to other countries,” he said.
He said Singapore was the greatest benefactor and that even the Singapore National Library was designed by a Malaysian.
In another case, he said, a highly qualified Malaysian academic was not accepted by local universities but was invited by the National University of Singapore to head a department.
The Sultan feared talent from the tourism and hospitality sectors would be affected when the island republic’s integrated entertainment resorts opened.
On race relations, he called for the young to have friends from other races, saying this was important.
He said Tunku Abdul Rahman was very particular about national unity and as the nation celebrated Merdeka, no one should forget his legacy of insisting on racial harmony.
The Sultan urged the people in Selangor to reject any form of racial and religious intolerance.
“Islam respects other religions and other religions must also respect Islam,” he said, adding multiracialism must be instilled at primary school level.
“If there is a need to re-evaluate our school system, then our authorities must do so to promote better racial harmony,” he said.
On crime, he said the police needed support from the people as they lacked manpower and facilities to fight crime.
The Sultan said he had asked the Selangor state government to install more CCTVs as a way to check crime.
He said he was aware Selangor had the highest crime rate because of the influx of people from other states and foreigners to work in the state.
On the environment, he said the state had planted over a million trees while the palace had committed itself to planting 5,000 trees on its grounds.

The Sultan said he was also upset with the use of his name by unscrupulous people for securing state awards or low-cost houses.
“I am disheartened by such people because Selangor does not sell state awards, that is clear, even to the people.
“But I am glad that the people in Selangor have taken the trouble to call the palace to verify claims from such dishonest people,” he said.

He said the palace believed in transparency and would be pleased to get feedback from the rakyat on developments in Selangor.

【本刊林宏祥撰述】24岁的留台网络音乐创作人黄明志“改编一首改编国歌”之举，已成为执政集团政治人物恫言以法律检举的目标，令《我爱我的国家Negarakuku》这首备受争议的歌曲升温不少。
尽管以种族权益为斗争目标的政党人物偏爱聚焦与放大歌词内的“种族”、“宗教”元素，对警察贪污、政经文教不公政策、固打制等避重就轻，但1970年代学生运动领袖希山慕丁莱益斯（Hishamuddin Rais，右图）却借此契机，在国家即将欢庆“独立50周年”之际，力抖更多“国家的谎言”。
从文化、艺术及文物部长莱益斯耶丁（Rais Yatim）建议的《1948年煽动法令》、青年与体育部长阿查丽娜（Azalina Othman Said）恫言以《1960年代内安法令》对付之，到马华公会副总会长翁诗杰声称“按《国歌法令》采取行动即可”，黄明志面对的不仅是源于动辄诉诸于国家法令的政治人物，还包括网民“死亡恐吓”的留言。【点击：网民扬言放火烧屋及杀害他 黄明志六点声明盼报章澄清】

早有人讥笑我们改编国歌
行文幽默的希山慕丁莱益斯在《今日马来西亚》（Malaysia Today）专栏“Dari Jelebu”中撰文《明月碎散五十年》（Lima Puluh Tahun Terang Bulan Terbarai），一开头便讥笑“一切（随《Negarakuku》的出现）都破裂、散落一地”了。
希山慕丁莱益斯在文中写道，在互联网的时代，以谷歌（google）搜寻器便能轻易揭露马来西亚国歌《Negaraku》乃源自《Terang Bulan》及《Memula Moon》的事实。这名前大专校园活跃份子声称，自己无法忘怀马印对抗（konfrantasi）的1960年代，印尼电台大肆播放《Terang Bulan》一曲，以调侃当时马来亚首相东姑阿都拉曼（Tunku Abdul Rahman）为英国“跑腿”（budak suruhan Inggeris），连国歌也是抄袭之作。
也是前《1960年内安法令》扣留者的希山慕丁莱益斯认为，《Negarakuku》的出现，证明“马来西亚计划”在50年后，已越来越失败。东姑阿都拉曼于1961年5月27日提出“马来西亚联邦”（Federation of Malaysia）概念，将新加坡（1965年退出）、沙巴、砂拉越（以及原本也包括在内的汶莱）纳入，与马来亚半岛拼凑为马来西亚。
希山慕丁莱益斯的论证是：
其一、马来西亚并非“50周年”，马来西亚日也非8月31日。马来西亚计划始于1963年9月16日，沙巴与砂拉越在1963年9月16日加入马来西亚；
其二、独立的诉求源自马来亚马来人国民党（Partai Kebangsaan Melayu Melaya，简称PKMM），而非巫统。巫统的大计是“马来人万岁！”（Hidup Melayu）；
其三、我们以不流血方式取得独立－－谎言！马来亚共产党、马来亚马来人国民党、醒觉青年团（Angkatan Pemudi Insaf, 简称API ）、醒觉妇女阵线（Angkatan Wanita Sedar，简称AWAS）、Hisbul Muslimin、马来亚民主协会（Malayan Democratic Union）的成员与支持者，是数千名举起枪杆与英国殖民政府对抗的青年；
其四、《Negaraku》创作者非马来亚人民，其原创者是在第19世纪出生的法国创作人Pierre-Jean de Béranger；
其五、马来西亚今日的国旗与本土文化无关，而是仿效美国国旗的作品。源于Lembah Bujang的马来文明Langkasuka的国旗是红白色，印尼、新加坡与巫统就使用了这个红白色。
马哈迪“加快”国歌节奏
另外，评论人杨善勇也在《当今大马》“众生学析”专栏中，撰文《黄明志该当何罪？》提醒，第四任首相马哈迪曾在2003年决定加快《Negaraku》的节奏。
值得一提的是，第五任首相阿都拉上台后，也曾抱怨国歌节奏太快，而要求将国歌节奏调慢。
如今黄明志将《Negaraku》原本古典式的唱法，改编成了节奏蓝调（R＆B）式的唱法，并重新编曲，有了以上种种案例，“禁止改编国歌”之说，显然站不住脚。
黄明志vs凯里
有趣的是，《南洋商报》专栏作者许国伟在《说黑道白》一栏中，也不止一次评述此课题，今日更将巫青团副团长凯里（Khairy Jamaluddin）与黄明志相提并论。许国伟在上周五（8月10日）《值不值得给掌声？》一文中，如是写道：“当我们今天在指责小撮政客玩弄种族情绪，他们面对批评依然不知悔改，还硬拗强辩就是不认错，还一脸洋洋自得；在某种程度而言，黄明志的行为无疑是‘小政客’。”
在今日《凯利与黄明志》一文中，在陈述首相女婿与黄明志的个别案例后，许国伟提出值得深思的一点：“乍看之下，30岁的凯里与20岁的黄明志，是否有相似之处？两人言行是否都只是由自己的种族思维出发呢？”
许国伟似乎回避黄明志接受访问时，已表示“愿意就冒犯之处道歉”的事实。黄明志说：“我只是说，必须让人民看看马来文歌词，如果他们读了歌词后，还是觉得自己受到冒犯，我愿意道歉。应该要给他们有看歌词的机会，否则这样我不服气。”【点击：“我不因强权压迫而道歉” 黄明志否认《前锋报》报道】
黄明志这番谈话显示自己对作品的信心，更不介意为（如果）本身冒犯其他族群的过错道歉。然而，对照凯里发表“边缘论”后怪媒体放大其言论、拒绝辩论也不愿道歉的作风，24岁的黄明志，不就与“小政客”划了界限吗？
我说，以退为攻，救只道歉回教的那一段来平息一下；不过就更大声强调你对其余部分的立场。我觉得，就只有那一小段的却有宗教讽刺的味道。

【本刊林宏祥撰述】人民公正党首领安华依布拉欣促请巫统领袖以成熟的态度接受“健康讨论”的传统，处理24岁留台生黄明志创作的《我爱我的国家Negarakuku》。
安华（左图）认为，每个人都够选择赞同或反对黄明志在歌曲中所要表达的看法，与此同时我们也该尊重黄明志的言论自由。曾经是1970年代学运领袖的安华说：“我们需要学习宽容，并深思年轻人的批判。”
尽管尊重黄明志在歌曲中所要表达的想法，安华也不忘劝诫，黄明志应该对马来西亚社会有更高的敏感度。
安华解释，这是因为大多数的土著是受害者，而这群土著不能与掠夺人民财产、生活养尊处优的巫统朋党相提并论。
安华在其部落格中转贴自己日前在柔佛州新山的谈话报道，评述日前“唱闹翻天”的《我爱我的国家Negarakuku》。

莫哈末泰益：比513更严重！
另一方面，根据英文日报《太阳报》（The Sun）报道，今年7月23日到吉隆坡金马区（Dang Wangi）警局举报《今日马来西亚》（Malaysia Today）网站主编拉惹柏特拉（Raja Petra Kamaruddin）“侮辱最高元首”、“挑起宗教、种族情绪”的巫统全国宣传主任莫哈末泰益（Muhamad Muhamad Taib），昨日在巫统雪兰莪州格拉娜再也（Kelana Jaya）区部警告，倘若侮辱宗教或其他种族的事件继续上演，他不排除会爆发暴乱事件。
他质问道：“难道我们要去到一个比513事件更具爆炸性（more explosive）的阶段吗？”
马来西亚吉隆坡在1969年5月13日爆发暴力冲突，造成无数人伤亡。官方一直将这段黑色历史解释为“族群之间的贫富悬殊”使然。无论如何，数年来越来越多政治人物与学者出示解密文件，指513暴乱是推翻当时首相东姑阿都拉曼的政变，为513事件提供另一版本的解释。【点击：513解密文件】

公青团列九“叛徒”回应凯里

【本刊林宏祥撰述】巫统青年团副团长凯里（Khairy Jamaluddin）标签人民公正党首领安华依布拉欣为“马来人叛徒”、“美国及犹太人的傀儡”的余波未了，人民公正党青年团副主席凯鲁安努亚（Khairul Anuar Ahmad Zainuddin）今日排开包括正副首相在内的九大“叛徒”名单，并挑战凯里与巫青团公布财产，以示本身非民族投机者。
根据回教党喉舌《哈拉卡》报道，凯里安努亚认为巫统领袖近来频频“贬低人民公正党作为”、以及狂踩安华的言行，恰恰反证人民公正党乃巫统“从前、当下及永远”的最大对手，而巫统领袖无能解决党内与国阵的内讧，惟靠狂踩人民公正党转移人民的视线。
凯鲁安努亚说：“部落客、马来西亚学生黄明志的创作，因此继续成为被炒作的课题。”

九大马来民族叛徒
凯鲁安努亚反替凯里列出九大“马来民族叛徒”的名单，入榜人士如下：
一、拉菲达（Rafidah Aziz），巫统妇女组主席，涉及汽车入口准证（AP）与Leader Universal Holdings股票舞弊。
二、拉欣（Rahim Tamby Chik），巫统最高理事，牵涉11所资产总值马币3千970万元的公司利益。

四、纳兹里（Nazri Aziz），巫统霹雳州贞德洛区（Padang Rengas）主席，涉及德士准证丑闻。

新经济政策惠及“某人士”
巫统领袖曾在2004年安华获释后的巫统大会上，极力抨击安华为民族叛徒，力阻安华重返巫统。今年四月雪州依约区（Ijok）州议席补选后，尽管国阵击败人民公正党候选人卡立依布拉欣（Khalid Ibrahim），却在之后的巫统最高理事会议上，议决拒绝安华重返巫统。
安华以“废除新经济政策（New Economic Policy，简称NEP）”作为本身重返政坛的主要政治议程，并举国上下宣扬其“不分种族、惠及全民”的“新经济议程”（New Economic Agenda）。
独立民调中心（Merdeka Center）今年六月做了一项民调，结果显示马来人社会相信新经济政策“惠及一般马来人”与“惠及某些有政治联系人士”的受访者，各占43%，平分秋色，对于过去拥护“执意相信没新经济政策马来人就无法立足”观念的马来社会，乃一大突破。

马华公会安什么“好意”？

【寒蝉有声／庄迪澎专栏】在台湾铭传大学留学的马来西亚学生――“黄明志”――引起网民及媒体注意，并非始于《我爱我的国家Negarakuku》这节短片；他的另一节R&B短片《麻坡的华语》早在几个月前已令他成为“名人”，而《我爱我的国家Negarakuku》只是令他人气急升而已。不过，我估计黄明志对于自己因“另类”爱国歌曲而“爆红”，恐怕也是始料不及。
《我爱我的国家Negarakuku》在youtube发表后，中文媒体在七月中旬已经相继撰文介绍，但没有引发太大争议，毕竟许多人早已在网上观赏了这节影片，而且华人社会对歌词内容恐怕只有共鸣，少有异议。巫统控制的《大都会日报》在8月7日以“没教养”（biadab）这个在马来人社会里堪称非常强烈的措辞“形容”黄明志，以及巫统政客群起围攻黄明志后，“黄明志事件”才算于焉浮现。
总要“顺一顺”欺压者的意
过去一星期来，巫统政客和马来文报章的表现，可以“一如既往”形容；从1999-2000年的“全国华团大选诉求”、2005-2006年《中国报》遭秋后算帐、独立电影《最后一个共产党人》、翁诗杰揭露“干捞”华小拨款事件等，有哪一次巫统不是以各式各样的暴力语言及“挟天子以令诸侯”――动辙祭出国家权力机器恐吓、欺凌弱势者及及驱逐异议，而不是以有深度及说服力的论述让百姓判断对错。
由于长期垄断国家权力机器及宣传机器，巫统往往都能凭着强权硬把对手压下去，这种拳头出真理的统治手段，只会扭曲这个社会的价值观，营造有强权就能赢得全世界的错误认知――自欺欺人宣称与巫统是“兄弟关系”的国阵成员党马华公会，实际上也仅屈从于巫统的强权。马华公会不敢向欺压者“进谏”，只懂反过来向被欺压者说好说歹，要被欺压者“顺一顺”欺压者的意，以保安全。
“黄明志事件”不断升温，显然是马来人媒体及巫统政客炒作的结果，但经马华公会黄氏兄弟“扭转乾坤”后，千错万错的俨然就是黄明志和他的家人，国阵、巫统及马华公会领导人“喊打喊杀”的言论却无须负上任何责任。
马华公会总会长黄家定周日说马华只希望能够和平的解决“黄明志事件”，还说“协助黄明志是马华（公会）的一番好意”。【点击《星洲日报》：黄家定：理智低调处理 盼改国歌争议速解决】
黄氏兄弟认错“劝告”对象
黄家定的哥哥、马华公会总秘书黄家泉上周六则说，希望“能以理智的态度低调处理和解决”黄明志事件，“目前最重要的是将大事化小、小事化无。不过，我们必须先知道黄明志和其家人的意愿。”【点击《星洲日报》：黄家泉：勿高调渲染 黄明志事件理智处理】
黄氏兄弟（左图）的言论意思浅白易懂，所谓“和平的解决”及“理智的态度低调处理和解决”，就是要黄明志或其家人妥协道歉，别再驳斥巫统的言论，才能“大事化小、小事化无”。黄明志有选择吗？没有，因为黄家定已经把话说在前头，他们“协助黄明志”是“一番好意”；易言之，黄明志若不识相道歉了事，让巫统政客有下台阶，那就是拂逆了马华公会的“好意”。
黄氏兄弟显然认错了他们要“劝告”对象――黄明志并不是闹大此事的祸首。持平而论，把《我爱我的国家Negarakuku》小题大作的人，不只是巫统政客；早在巫统政客开声之前，马华公会的两名副部长早已把《我爱我的国家Negarakuku》放大来看：
7月19日，马华公会副总秘书、副文化、艺术及文物部长黄锦鸿就言之凿凿地说，已指派官员调查黄明志改编国歌是否有辱国誉，而且“如证实该改编曲含有侮辱国歌成份，将援引国歌法令控告黄明志。”【点击《星洲日报》：网上发表改编国歌起风波 黄明志或惹牢狱灾】

只需简单对比，读者就能发现，黄锦鸿和胡亚桥的遣词用字――侮辱国歌、采取行动、对付、控告――恰恰和巫统党籍的官员们所用的遣词用字如出一辙。马华公会现在却摆出“协助黄明志”的“好意”，这是“觉今是而昨非”吗？

【本刊记者撰述】马来西亚留华同学会会长陈志成认为，《我爱我的国家Negarakuku》的内容虽然牵涉宗教禁忌，但是部长高官们未分析黄明志所表达的现象是否属实，便欲采用国家重典对付黄明志，令人遗憾。
他说：“我们不清楚这些高官们是否真正读过黄明志的原文，了解其中真正的涵义？否则落得‘一犬吠影，百犬吠声’，以讹传讹的地步，那是非常不幸和不理智的。”
陈志成（左图）也是留台联总前会长，他表示，黄明志把不满政府的行为，以饶舌的方式穿插在国歌中表达，内容牵涉宗教禁忌，虽有待商榷，但这是年轻人的创意，而且勇敢说出心中的不满和意见，应该鼓励和赞扬，给予他们更广大的空间发展。
陈志成发表声明说，“风雨如晦，鸡鸣不已”，知识分子批评国家的不公平政策及不当措施乃是公民职责，而政府应该关注及研讨这些批评，而不是恫言内安法令对付乃至褫夺公民权，否则未免小题大做。
“我们曾听过马来人歌手以摇滚方式呈现国歌，也看见一些极端的友族领袖使用更恶毒、更具有挑拨性的语言伤害友族的感情，为何我们没有看见政府也有这么大的反应？那些高官也没有挺身而出，站出来制止或谴责？黄明志通过歌曲来表达对社会现象的看法，其甚有创意的手法应当获得鼓励。更何况，爱国与批评政府不应该混为一谈。”
陈志成质问道：“一个人爱国是否就不能批评？批评政府是否就等同于不爱国？这是两件不同的事，我们应该要能够分得清楚。正因为基于爱国的精神，我们批评社会发生的不公平、滥权、贪污等等事件，以期望这个国家未来能变得更好，因为事实上贪污滥权才是最不爱国的行为。”
他说，政府是由人民选出来管理国家，一旦有任何不当的管理行为，应要接受人民的批评并且改正，而不是以大权在握的方式压制抗议的声音。
马来西亚留华同学会希望政府开明看待不同的批评，并根据批评的事实根据调查，而不是一味避重就轻，以更大的力量来压制、惩罚批评者，以转移视线，模糊了批评的真正意义。

首相应制约种族宗教情绪抬头
民权委会：宽容方能凝聚共识

【本刊记者撰述】吉隆坡暨雪兰莪中华大会堂民权委员会认为，在这50周年国庆前夕，政府领导人应以更开放、更宽容的态度来看待黄明志的饶舌国歌，一昧打压并不能令不满现实的年轻一代信服；该会对一些政治人物建议以褫夺公民权、《1960年内安法令》或《1948年煽动法令》对付旅台学生黄明志，感到遗憾。
民权委员会主席谢春荣（右图）今天发表声明说：“首相阿都拉乃政府首脑，应立刻果断地以更开放的措施，鼓励各阶层针砭时弊，从根本上正视民间的声音，才能制约偏狭的种族宗教情绪抬头。”
谢春荣说，对国歌国旗的基本尊重是必要的，而黄明志的饶舌国歌可能会令一些人难以接受，但新生代有新生代的表达方式，饶舌国歌虽然有些欠严肃，但身为长辈的国家领导人，若以“叛国罪”、“国家安全问题”看待，则未免有点小题大作。
“更何况黄明志已澄清，并无改变国歌的旋律和歌词，而只是完整地取样而已，并表示此做法若真的触犯了《国歌法令》，他深感抱歉。”
民权委员会认为，执政党应该正视民间诉求，因为所谓的“国家新共识”的形式，首先就必须制造一个自由开放宽容的环境。宽容对待黄明志事件，是打造民间“国家共识”的最佳示范。
巫统副主席慕尤丁前天（8月12日）建议，国阵成员党领袖举行闭门会议，以鉴定国内种族关係出现问题的原因；巫统内部将先行展开内部讨论，取得集体共识后，才与其他国阵成员党会谈，最后达成一项“国家新共识”。
民权委员会认为，国内近期发生的一些事件，如恫言对付编写《513解密文件》作者柯嘉逊、警方扣押与调查在野党网络工作者、警告媒体勿犯禁、恫言肃清网络部落客言论、检禁宗教书籍、禁播电影、对付边缘摇滚音乐创作等，是与自由开放社会的建设背道而驰的。

In year 1963, Tunku Abdul Rahman suggested to join Federation of Malaya, Brunei, Sabah, Sarawak & Singapore to form Malaysia. It was really a good idea, because his intention is to build a multi-racil country that unites together.
At the end, Brunei pulled out. In year 1965, Singapore was expelled (why it was expelled? think carefully).
If we cannot stay together happily, why bother to be together & fight every day & night. If Singapore can split themselves out of Malaysia, why can't Sabah & Sarawak?
TO SABAHAN & SARAWAKAN, do you really want to be a Muslim country? Do you really see the future of Malaysia? Do you know that 2 of your states are bigger than Penisular Malaya?
If today you decided to leave, I believe 50 years later, you will be much more stronger than Malaya!! Singapore can do it in 1965 and advanced itself to 1st world country today, why can't you do it after 50 years? If you keep continue to stay as part of Malaysia, what can you be??

I had met 拉菲达（Rafidah Aziz) in Silicon Valley few year ago. She was promoting M'sia as a place for Hi-Tech company to invest automation industry. Many attenders were questioning the talented worker supply. One of the M'sian asked her - What is the benefit for a M'sian to go back to work? She replied that you didn't need working permit to work in M'sia. I was shocked by her response. Which citizen need to apply working permit in his/her own country. USA welcome all the talented person come to work in US - working permit is not an issue at all [Singapore also welcome talented person..see what happen to Singapore; we were equal or better than Singapore back in 1963 before they left the alliance. Now, they are many steps ahead of us...just look at RM vs Sin]. M'sia Government does not know how to recruit talented people, how to advance? China and India are moving ahead of us now...sigh..

From my opinion, Meng Chee didn't insult on religion.

Negarakuku風波告一段落
黃明志：我道歉
（布城14日訊）因改編國歌《我愛我的國家》（Negarakuku）而引起軒然大波的網絡創作歌手黃明志，今日發表聲明，公開向大馬政府和人民道歉。
黃明志今日在台灣，通過電郵發表道歉聲明，由衷向全體國人致歉，並鄭重聲明，從未想要侮辱國歌、國家和族群。
“我和全體人民一樣，誓死效忠馬來西亞君國，為持有馬來西亞公民的身分而光榮，為能維護和享有各族融合共睦而驕傲，我也非常期待在台灣學成歸來，為國家效力。”
此外，黃明志也在今日，通過馬華副總會長拿督斯里蔡細歷及馬華柔州領袖，公開向政府和全民道歉。
雖然他身在國外，但仍於今早親自與蔡細歷進行越洋通話約半小時，表明其悔意；其父親黃安熙也特地從麻坡赶來布城衛生部長辦公事會見衛長蔡細歷，力求早日平息風波。
蔡細歷在會見黃安熙后召開記者會說，他在事發后曾數度與黃明志通電，最后一次是今早，后者告訴他和黃安熙，無心詆毀和破壞國家名譽、國歌和任何宗教，尤其是回教。
“與黃明志接觸后，我發覺他是一個無知和天真的年輕人，身為一名創作歌手，他希望引起更多人注意到他的作品，以為改編國歌可以使他一炮而紅。”
他說，在聆聽《我愛我的國家》福建版本后，他不認為黃明志要帶出政府對華社不公平的訊息，黃明志身為一名創作歌手，有權發表本身的意見，馬華不能指示所有創作人必須讚頌政府和國家。
“在這件事上，黃明志不該改編國歌，因為國歌代表一個國家的主權和地位，不容其他人玩弄和利用，以滿足私利。”
他希望國人能夠敞開心胸，念在黃志明年少無知，接受后者的道歉。

Whatever namewee did by singing that song in the first place i have to admit he has got skills in rap..although he said the truth about malaysia he was just stating things that really does happen in malaysia?

国阵自2004年大选赢得前所未有的91%国会议席后，尽管国阵的公关手段，尤其是对阿都拉的改革、亲民与全民首相的形象包装无孔不入，但是近来所发生的一系列事件，都反映国阵的压倒性议席已经逐步沦为变相的独裁政权，其权力运作已渗入每个公民的个人生活里。
主流媒体成激化种族矛盾帮凶
执政党牢牢控制国会，司法独立自1988年后不复存在，主流媒体在政商垄断和恶法钳制下成为当权者的传声筒。因此，国阵主干政党巫统的领袖的言论，不受制于法律，甚至可以超越宪法，相反的，致力于捍卫宪法精神的公民社会，其声音却被当权者下令在主流媒体上消音。
主流媒体的集体阉割，让当权者可以轻易逃过一切贪污腐败、治理不当、政治操守不佳的检视，避免统治的合理性与合法性的裂痕不断扩张，却反过来通过主流媒体大肆炒作宗教族群课题，以此争取各自族群的支持，迫不及待修补面临崩溃的权力基石。
至于无法扮演监督政治权力角色的主流媒体，只好退守于维护民族尊严权益的岗位，不幸成了当权者分化人民、激化种族矛盾的帮凶。黄明志改编国歌风波在不同语文媒体出现两极化的报道角度，就是最好的佐证。
靠打压黄明志展示政治霸权
黄明志改编国歌风波，已拉响当权者政治权力无限度扩大渗透的警钟，反映当权者操弄宗教种族课题的程度，已经严重至不惜种族化与宗教化任何课题，大至国家政治事务，小至个人生活琐事；上至立国原则，下至歌曲创作，来延续自己身为民族与宗教英雄的神话。
要神话让人心神向往，深入民间，神话里的妖魔鬼怪就必须臣服于英雄的长剑之下，甚至改邪归正，成为英雄的侍从。这就解释了为什么当权者需要动员整个国家机器，里应外合、恐吓诱导，势必要让黄明志妥协屈服。
一旦黄明志愿意成为点缀当权者长剑上的另一颗宝石，不仅让当权者身为民族与宗教捍卫者的地位更加稳固，召唤操弄民族宗教情绪的力量更形强大，另一方面则向对方的同情者和异议分子展示自己的政治霸权，取得杀一儆百的寒蝉效应。
一起捍卫虚拟世界言论净土
倘若黄明志能够结合公民社会与虚拟世界的力量拒绝低头，反而通过其他方式如法律行动或发起声援运动反将一局，可以让碰壁的当权者陷入窘境，连带削弱其领导权威。另一方面还能鼓励更多的人士勇于发声，敢于对权贵呛声，在当权者所营造的文化霸权里开出一个缺口。
单靠个人的行动无法争取个人的言论自由，公民社会和网民当然也不能只靠黄明志一个人对抗整个国家机器。不同人士可能对黄明志的歌曲内容抱有不同立场，但是基于言论自由是公民的基本权利，公民社会和虚拟社群此时就应该全力捍卫黄明志的基本权利，保卫虚拟世界这片言论自由的最后堡垒，阻止这个准独裁政权无止境地将权力伸入你我的私人生活里。

【本刊庄迪澎撰述】马华公会副总会长蔡细历今天转达黄明志道歉时，形容黄明志是个“入世未深的年轻人”，他改编国歌创作《我爱我的国家Negarakuku》，是希望在创作路上一举成名，但这种想法有点幼稚。
蔡细历（右图左）说，黄明志改编国歌之举虽显得无知和天真，但基于其无心诋毁任何人及诚心认错与道歉，马华公会愿意接受其道歉。
蔡细历也是卫生部长，他今天上午在卫生部召开记者会，传达黄明志的道歉。黄明志的父亲黄安熙（右图右）、马华公会柔佛州峇吉里区会署理主席黄国华、麻坡区会主席郑贝川也出席了记者会。蔡细历说，他今早与黄熙安会面时，曾与黄明志通话长达半小时。
根据在场采访蔡细历记者会的同行转述，蔡细历说黄明志“完全无意污辱国家声誉和宗教”，“他以为在歌曲穿插国歌便能获得各族认同尤其是巫裔，从中建立本身的知名度和形像，但始料未及国歌是不可被更改”。
不能以国歌逐私利
蔡细历也认为黄明志不应改编国歌和触及宗教课题，虽然黄明志不过是欲展示本身的才华，但国歌绝非是个好题材，代表国家自主权的国歌不能成为一逐个人利益的媒介。
不过，蔡细历也说：“他只是个年轻人，学业也尚未完成，不应受到如此的重责，更何况他已经感到忏悔。我们应该接受他的真诚道歉，要是他顽固不灵则另当别论。”
蔡细历也转述说，黄明志希望大家不要再翻译他的歌，也不会回应任何网络或信件，因为他认为这起风波应该告一段落。
与此同时，蔡细历也否认“黄明志事件”已对马华公会造成影响，更不能一概而论指华裔青年都不满政府。
他说，马华公会向来以关注华族的问题为己任，也不是第一次为了保护华裔同胞而挺身相助。“任何课题一旦对华裔造成影响，我们就有责任代表厘清正确的观点。”
不认为反映政府不公平对待华裔
至于有人认为黄明志的《我爱我的国家Negarakuku》真实反映了政府不公平对待华裔，蔡细历说，他听过该首曲子后并不认为有这个意思。
不过，蔡细历也说，他已劝告黄明志要谨慎行事，因为成功绝无捷径可图。“马华不能叫所有词曲创作人只能一味歌颂政府，只要不是污辱国家、宗教和主权，他们可以自由创作。”
他说：“我们可以有不同的意见，可是必须寻求恰当及有效的传达方式，这是非常重要。终日在咖啡店谩骂宣泄不满无济于事。”
“我相信不只是华裔，印裔和巫裔也有不满的事。年轻人都有本身的意见，他们的观念与长者不同，如果彼此竟会一致的话，国家未来一定面对问题，国家的发展需要这批生力军。”
黄安熙：给明志一个机会
黄明志的父亲黄安熙则在记者会上说，希望政府和马来人同胞谅解，给黄明志一个机会继续学业。
他说，孩子要说的话已由蔡细历传达，因此他希望媒体全文刊登这些谈话。
黄安熙说：“今天很难得能通过这机会，获得部长的协助解决这起风波，他（蔡细历）确实给予我孩子很大的忙。”

If they want to compare with Indonesia, but Indonesia Uni (GADJAH MADA UNIVERSITY) is rank at 95. They are trying to improve themselves already. Even our neighbor – Thailand is much better than us, 5 uni from Thai in the top 100, 3 Uni from India also. What’s the fact!!!!

It is not your issue after all. It is a FACT that every Malaysian know. Now the world know...many of my foreigners classmates and workers know. Some uncivilized government officers make it ever worse - Malaysia becomes a "barbarous" country not because of you or your song, it is because how uncivilized government treats you.
I could not substitute you for your suffer but I greatly appreciate your brave hearts and Patriot. You take good care, ok? Patriot will take the issues up to next level in peaceful way. We are not like some uncivilized government officers who only know how use "threatening" way to achieve their goals.

Why sing about the azan waking you up at 5am and how some of them can't sing in tune? I disagree with your opinion. Many non-bumiputra are top students before they can make it to local U; however, the local U does not have "enough" good quality professors that waste the students' talents. For example, talented students can not study the subject they want to study. Studying is about interest; you sure do the "BEST" when you are interested in subject.
Many talented bumiputra students are generally not studying in local U because the government already sent them to study oversea. (I learned from bumiputra sutdents in oversea)
Dont let those babiputras intimidate you. We support you.
